Emerald Canopy Gator
$185
One of one. Once it's gone, it's gone.
Inspired by the ancient gingko tree, Emerald Canopy celebrates resilience, renewal, and the enduring beauty of nature.
Graceful emerald leaves wrap across a reclaimed alligator skull, while hand-finished metallic gold accents illuminate the eye, teeth, and lower jaw. Every curve of the natural bone remains visible beneath the artwork, preserving its history while transforming it into a sculptural heirloom.
This reclaimed alligator skull has been thoughtfully transformed into a sculptural work of art that celebrates life's natural cycles. Every tooth, curve, and imperfection is preserved as part of its story, giving new purpose to something once overlooked.
Whether displayed in a curiosity cabinet, modern home, creative studio, or collected alongside natural history pieces, this artwork is designed to spark conversation and invite a closer look.
No two pieces are ever alike.
Taxidermy head is fully intact.
Measures 7" in length and 3.5" wide.
Each piece is unique and you will receive one similar to this.

A soothing but lengthy process that I enjoy to make these bones into art pieces for your home/shop/wherever.

I have always had a fascination with all parts of animals and nature. Even as a quiet little introverted child I would poke around in my backyard and the woods behind the house for feathers, bones, signs left by creatures of the forest.
On a visit to our local farmer’s market I found a crafter who was selling decoupage oyster and clam shells. She had taken this throw away item from nature and turned it into this little piece of art. I was inspired to remake some of the bones I had collected over the years into works of art and off I went! After using the pieces I have foraged I began sourcing bones from other folks who use ethical means to obtain them.
